Target Buy (TB): For investors who are interested in purchasing or adding to a fund but want to wait for the next 'buying opportunity' to buy or add to the investment. Under the Target Buy parameter, you select a Target Buy percentage for a fund based on the initial ' Notional Value' of the fund on the date the parameter is established and if the ' Notional Value' of the fund subsequently decreases in excess of the specified Target Buy percentage (below the initial ' Notional Value' ), your representative will be instructed by you to either (a) purchase a specified amount of that fund, or (b) send you a letter to advise you that the Target Buy percentage has been achieved.
Spread Target Buy: For investors who believe in the long-term potential of a fund and want to maintain their investment through all volatility and add to existing positions if short-term weakness is experienced. Under the Spread Target Buy parameter, you select both an Increase Desired percentage and a Target Buy percentage. If the Notional Value of the fund increases in excess of the Increase Desired, your representative will send you a letter advising that the Increase Desired has been achieved. In addition, if the Notional Value of the fund ever decreases in excess of the specified Target Buy percentage (from the highest ' Notional Value' ), your representative will be instructed by you to either (a) purchase a specified amount of that fund, or (b) send you a letter to advise you that the Target Buy percentage has been achieved.
